History of RM Hockey and Son

The Company was founded in August 1980 as a father and son partnership.
The partnership started as a garage workshop at the side of their house
The success was born through determination of father and enforcing the work ethic into his son with father and son offering the service of travelling to a farm to repair the vehicle, machinery, tractor, anything mechanical - A modern day step toe and son, to this day son, still has a bit of the steptoe in him.

The family passion has always been motorbikes, predominantly off road. Gareth commenced riding in 1981 and it became a family affair, with the partnership obtaining its first dealership in 1983 for Maico.
In 1995 the partnership was incorporated to become RM Hockey & Son Ltd.
Company Progression
The relocation of the garage and retail partnership in 1996 was moved to its present day site.
In 2002 the three bay Garage unit was constructed, with a mezzanine floor to house the Breakers Department and stock of used parts was purchased to stock the Department we now know as the Breakers
In 2003 the MOT bay and car workshop was relocated to the new building.
In 2005 the small retail unit was expanded to encompass the front part of the building as a large viewing area, with storage at the rear.
In 2007 the showroom was once again expanded to encompass a two storey full showroom, which forms part of the rental units within the site, known as the Bryn Garage.

Secondhand and Used Items
Secondhand/ Used means an item that has been previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended
